About Nellie

Nellie is an entrepreneur, business owner, and consultant with a career spanning media, property, and legal tech. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, she began working professionally as an actress at the age of seven, performing in film and television across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA. At 17, she moved to London to train at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), and by 19 had become co-owner of a digital production company.

Under her leadership, the company became one of the UK’s most prolific digital children’s content producers, partnering with major children's brands before the company was acquired by Moonbug Entertainment. Upon acquisition, Nellie joined Moonbug as part of its founding management team and served as Vice President, Head of Production. There, she led a global team of 150 professionals creating content for AVOD, SVOD, music DSPs, linear programming, theatrical releases, and licensing & merchandising. During her tenure, Moonbug achieved remarkable success, including a reported $3 billion acquisition by Candle Media in 2021 and recognition on Fast Company’s 2023 list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies.

In 2016, Nellie co-founded Property 165 - an award-winning boutique property business managing rental and development portfolios across Greater London.
Most recently, she launched AWAY Wills, a digital-first estate planning company modernising how today’s families engage with Will-writing and legacy planning across England and Wales.
Whilst focusing on the development of applications to support the accessibility of estate planning, she also consults for the global animation sector, combining her creative roots with strategic business expertise.
